With the appearance of new models of feeding and specific diets, more and more people are choosing to substitute milk consumption for other beverages such as almond milk or soy vegetable drink, among other examples. It is estimated that more than 700 million people around the world lack access to safe water. This situation can have tragic consequences for children: nearly 1,000 children die every day from diseases associated with contaminated drinking water, poor sanitation or poor hygiene practices.
The Commission on Labor Affairs of the Food and Beverage Industry, made up of the Spanish Federation of Food and Beverage Industries (FIAB), UGT FICA and CCOO-INDUSTRIA, has shown its concern at the depth that the health crisis caused by COVID19 and the possibility of a serious and sustained economic recession on a global scale, with the worst consequences on employment and the economy in our country and in the rest of the world.
